Holiday Gift Guide

Loving this super cute sign from Shop Carolina Made on Etsy

Wondering what to get the bartender in your life for the holidays?  Whether you know a professional bartender, hobbyist bartender, or are looking to start your own at home bar collection, I’ve put together a list that’ll make them say cheers!

First up, its hard to mix drinks at home without a proper shaker set! These shakers from A Bar Above are stainless steel for durability but on trend with a polished mirror gold finish. The larger tin is weighted and smaller tin is unweighted providing a great balance of a perfect seal when shaking but the weight in the bottom makes it easy to open before pouring. This shaker set was designed by a bartender for bartenders!

You can’t have a shaker set without at least one strainer. If there’s one strainer to own it’s a fine mesh strainer. This type of strainer allows you to strain out any muddled fruit or pulpy citrus in addition to the ice. If you don’t have both a Hawthorne and a fine mesh strainer you can always strain out the ice with the top shaker tin by positioning bottom side down into the large tin. Put this fine mesh strainer into your cart along with the shaker tins on A Bar Above.

What good are these fancy bar tools without some beautiful glassware? I get asked most often about the gold bottomed glasses you see on my Insta. They are a set of Gatsby tumblers from Viski.  These glasses are perfect for anything over ice, especially an old fashioned or G&T. At $29.99 for a set of two, they won’t exactly break the bank and will be a very elegant addition to your collection. Honestly, the entire Viski glassware selection is amazing. Always hand wash y’all!!

A glassware collection is not complete without something from Libbey! They’ve been making glassware since 1892 and I myself have a vintage 60’s pitcher and glassware set from them that I keep on display in my kitchen (and also use for pitchers of homemade margaritas!). While you can’t go wrong with anything from Libbey’s wide range of offerings, I am obsessed with their Tiki Mai Tai glass! With a classy Nick & Nora shape on top and party on the bottom with a detailed amber tiki design, these are a perfect ode to vintage tiki for your next backyard gathering!  The glass shape is perfect for Manhattans, martinis, strained tiki drinks and even wine!

Your amateur bartender will appreciate a whole new world of ice with a set of sphere & large square ice cube molds from Glacio. These are easy to find on Amazon and are low in price. I personally own these ice cube trays and they are a game changer for cocktails! A larger surface area on ice dilutes the drink slower so you can enjoy it longer without tasting watered down.

If you know someone who’s all about science experiments, this Cocktail Bitters Making Kit would be right up their alley! It comes with 8 bitters bottles and 10 different botanicals & herbs, making it possible for many bitters combinations (remember that bitters bar I recommended last week for old fashioneds?) Unlock their creative side with this unique & fun gift from Man Crates!

Lastly, a luxury gift to store all this cocktail goodness! I am obsessed with this eye-catching Tiered Bar Console from West Elm Rich woodgrain, smooth lacquer and antique brass combine for a bar cart to admire always. Stylish & space saving design offers two shelves, a glassware rack and a floating third shelf for a timeless look that will complement just about any space!  It’s the perfect place to hang their new Tiki Mai Tai glasses!

I hope you got some great ideas for a special bartender someone in your life, whether it be Christmas or any other occasion for gift giving! If you loved this list, share with a friend!
